The Thompson Technique Academy certification seminar series is a focused, Thompson Technique specific, no nonsense approach, with tons of interactive hands-on practice, series designed to produce the highest quality Thompson practitioners.
At the conclusion of the series the participants will be given both written and practical examinations. The Thompson Technique Academy testing fee is included in the fee to attend the seminars. Successful completion of testing will earn participant a certification / certificate of proficiency from the Thompson Technique Academy.
Previously certified practitioners will be required to attend a Thompson Technique Academy seminar (18 hours) and re-certify every three years to maintain the highest level of proficiency. Certified practitioners will be offered a reduced 'Certified Refresher Fee' to attend a seminar. If a practitioner is unable to attend a refresher seminar to maintain certification due to distance or illness an 'At Home' test will be offered (written and practical video submissions) to maintain certification. The Thompson Technique Academy Re-certification testing fee is included in the price of attending a refresher seminar.
- Attend four (4) single day (9 hour) seminars,
- or attend two (2) single day seminars and one (1) two (2) day weekend,
- or attend two (2) two day weekends of Thompson Technique Academy seminars to meet the 36 hour certification requirements.
- or attend any combination of 18 hours live, in-person seminar(s), complete approximately 18 hours of self guided remote study, submit written requirements, and video submissions.

How to Become a Thompson Instructor
For those who would like to become a Thompson Technique Instructor we can help with that. Requirements to achieve recognized instructor status are as follows:
- Complete 3 certification programs from recognized instructor(s), about 100 hours. Exceptions may be made based on individual basis based on experience and qualifications.
- Written test.
- Practical test.
